Mountains

Just thinking about the mountains, all that we get from them, how much we enjoy them.

So I thought today I would share just a few verses on Mountains from the bible.

They were covered during the flood, a place to land the arc, held as reverence for prayer and fellowship.

Many more but just a thought of some items listed in the bible. Read through the list and pray for God to reveal to you his word, take time to fellowship with believers and pray!.

Genesis 7:19-20 They rose greatly on the earth, and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than fifteen cubits.

Genesis 8:4-5 and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. The waters continued to recede until the tenth month, and on the first day of the tenth month the tops of the mountains became visible.

Psalm 36:6 Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, LORD, preserve both people and animals.

Psalm 72:3 May the mountains bring prosperity to the people, the hills the fruit of righteousness.

Psalm 90:2 Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

Psalm 125:2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore.

Isaiah 49:13 Shout for joy, you heavens; rejoice, you earth; burst into song, you mountains! For the LORD comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.

Isaiah 52:7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

Matthew 5:1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him,

Mark 6:46 After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray.

John 6:3 Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples.

1 Corinthians 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
